What do you picture yourself wearing on your wedding day? A majestic ballgown with an off the shoulder sweetheart neckline or a slim fitting fit and flare with an illusion lace top? Come to our first meeting equipped with all your ideas and I can help build your dream gown. Know exactly what you want? Perfect. Aren’t so sure? That’s okay too, I can help you narrow down the qualities you want in a gown to make something you’ll adore.
Fabrics, sketches, decision! Oh My!
The next step is pin-pointing exactly what you want. Once the final sketches of the gown are completed I’ll help you choose the fabrics that will be perfect for the style.
Fit muslin
The first thing you’ll get to try on will be the muslin. After drafting a pattern based on your measurements for your specific design, I’ll put together a mock gown out of a cheaper fabric so you can begin to see what the finished product will end up looking like. We’ll make sure the design lays correctly on you and you’re happy with the overall look before cutting into the real fabric.
The Real Deal
What happens next? Well, that’s where the magic happens. Your dress will start to come to life, with the real fabric and all the finishings. There will still be some minimal alterations during this process, and of course, we may still need to add in a bustle for you!
